Hello,

 

Awesome meet at Newton! Results will be posted within the next few days. Framingham lost the meet. We had lots of best times and also 4 team records broken! Our relay swims were terrific at the end of the meet and many relays swam 6-8 seconds faster than they have been all season. The meet was a huge success, and it set us up well for our upcoming competitive dual meets (Walpole, Thursday July 29th). It also gave our team important racing experience in the Newton pool, which is where Championships are being held (Saturday August 7th). Thank you to all families who attended the meet. We had lots of families make travel plans around this week, come back from vacations and return from camp to compete. We have many doing the same during the next 2 weeks. This kind of commitment says a lot about our program and the families involved, and the coaching staff appreciates your commitment.  

 

As those who were at the meet saw, there were A LOT of close races (especially the relays). Championships is 17 days away and there are going to be lots of close races again. If everyone works hard and attends every practice from now until championships, we will see huge improvements. Our goal is to swim as fast as possible at the championship meet, and we need everyone to work hard for these last 17 days in order to do this. Everybody matters and we are depending on every single person. Let's see what we can do!

 

We have practice today, Wednesday July 21. A home meet tomorrow, Thursday July 22. We have practice Saturday morning, July 24th @ Keefe (11 & Under 9:30-11, 12 & Over 11-12:30).

 

We need everyone for our championship meet on Saturday August 7th. If you are going to be participating, you must turn in your residency form and proof of residency TODAY. The entry for championships is due soon, so please mark it down in the BLUE binder today if you are not attending.
