Framingham Swim Team

Awesome meet last night! Lots of best times and lots of fun. Thank you to all parent volunteers for the help. Results for the meets this week will be posted within the next few days.

Below is our team's schedule for next week. I'm sending it out now so that everyone can plan ahead. For those missing the meet on Monday and/or Tuesday, it should be marked down in the white binder. If you have not marked it down, please email me to let me know.

Monday: AWAY MEET @ Westwood, 3:40 PM meet for bus @ Keefe Tech (back parking lot), 5:00 PM check in @ Westwood. ***For the away meets next week, we will only have ONE bus (for other weeks we will have 2). Please only take the bus next week if you are not able to get to the meet otherwise. There is not usually a snack bar, so please bring drinks and light snacks.

Wednesday: Practice. ALL RESIDENCY PROOF FORMS FOR THOSE ATTENDING CHAMPIONSHIPS ON AUGUST 7th MUST BE TURNED IN by this practice. Please fill out the form and provide Framingham proof of residency. http://framinghamswimteam.org/regionals.htm

Thursday: AWAY MEET @ Norwood, 3:40 PM meet for bus @ Keefe Tech (back parking lot). 5;00-5:10 PM check in @ Norwood. ***Norwood is going to be a competitive meet***. The Norwood pool is 40 yards long. 10 & Under swimmers will swim to a rope, 11 & Over will swim 40 yards. It is outside. They will have a snack bar available.

Directions for all of our away meets can be found on our website. One of the reasons why our team is consistently very competitive every year is that we have great attendance. Our away meets this year happen to be our more competitive meets (at norwood, at newton, at walpole), and we are depending on all swimmers to get to the meets. The second reason why we are very competitive is because our group works hard. With only 2 practices available each week now, it is even more important than before that swimmers attend every practice. Thank you in advance for doing everything you can to be at all meets and practices.
