Pasta Party
Our team pasta party is this Wednesday, July 28th, from 6-7:30 PM at 890 Salem End Road, Framingham. Families are encouraged to carpool to the pasta party since parking on the road can be difficult. Parents do not have to stay, but if children need supervision, they should make sure they have it. We are having this party in prepartion for our big meet at Walpole (Thursday), and also to gear up for the end of the season. We will be decorating bandanas at the party as well. We hope everyone can come!

Mile Swim Results
Framingham won our 7th consecutive mile swim title last Friday!! 5 boys and 5 girls from every team competed (55 girls and 55 boys in total). It is a fun and challenging event that participants must be in a great shape for. Our group represented the entire team extremely well.

Results of the girls: Halie Olson (1st), Mariel Ramey (6th), Alex Pan (18th), Carly Biron (19th), Michaela Savran (23rd)
Results of the boys: Tim Long (1st), Hunter Olson (6th), Connor Levenson (10th), Steve Lessard (13th), Keith Savran (16th).

Slideshow - Pictures Needed!

Reminder for all families
ALL SWIMMERS MUST LET US KNOW IN ADVANCE IF THEY ARE NOT ATTENDING A MEET. It is very unfair to the team, coaches, and parents involved to not show up to a meet without letting the coaching staff know in advance. It is very difficult for us to make last minute changes and unexpected absences often lead to confusion, longer meets, and a less competitive line up. If something does come up last minute (an emergency), you can call, text or email (I have email on my phone and will see it). Otherwise, we need to know as far in advance as possible. Meet absences must be marked down in the white binder.

Championship Meet/Residency Proof - Very Important
As you already know, the championship meet format is different this year. All swimmers from Framingham will compete on Saturday August 7th. There is no longer an A & B Regional, and no qualifying times. Everyone competes and we need all swimmers to attend. The information for this meet is posted here.

This year the league is ensuring that all people who participate in championships are residents of the town that they are swimming for. Non-residents are not able to compete. All swimmers that are eligible to compete and that are planning on competing MUST fill out the residency proof page and prove their Framingham residence. The league has already received our roster, which includes the name & address of all swimmers. Those who are planning on or who may be attending Championships on Saturday August 7th must turn in proof of Framingham residency by Monday July 12th.

The residency proof document can be downloaded here. It explains the new policy. Please fill it out and turn it in, along with an appropriate proof of residency, by Monday July 12th. You can also find the proof of residency form here as well: http://framinghamswimteam.org/regionals.htm

Even if you are not planning on being at the meet, we encourage you to fill out the form anyway and provide proof of residency (plans could change). Please turn in the filled out form and proof of residency to one of the coaches within the next week. We must have all forms by Monday July 12th. Practice Sessions
Please note that we have made some practice changes - we will now be running three 45 minute practices each night. The 1st practice will be for 8 & Under swimmers, the 2nd practice will be for 9-10 and 11-12 swimmers, and the 3rd practice will be for 13 & Over swimmers. Each 45 minute practice will be divided up into at least 3 separate groups to make sure that everyones needs are met. As always, our staff asks that you check out the calendar in advance and do your best to plan other activities around swim team events..

Meet Results
For those of you new to this site, be sure to check out your personal profile by going to the "Stats" page and then clicking on your name. You'll see listings showing the results for all events you've participated in this season, as well as your average times for each event and personal best! A password is required for access. Team members can obtain a password via email by clicking on the following link. Please include the name of the swimmer in your note.
